Sales That Need Review
At some point a sale email might arrive, but RelistKit might not be able to match it to an existing inventory item. Rather than guess and mark the wrong item sold, it waits for you. Those sales sit under the Needs review filter for All sales, and this article explains why a sale lands there and how to clear it.

Why a sale ends up here
- The listing was never in RelistKit (maybe it sold from your closet before you imported it, or you listed it platforms other than Poshmark).
- The title on the platform no longer matches the item in RelistKit.
- Two items in RelistKit have the same title, and the email does not say which one sold.
1. Open the sale
Navigate to Sales and looks for the Needs attention section, or go to All sales and use the Status filter to show Needs review items.
Click the Review button in the row that requires review.
2. Choose what to do

- If one of the suggested items is right, click Link to this item.
- If the right item is not among the suggestions, type its title or SKU into Search your inventory, and then click Link to this item on the result.
- If this was not your sale, or you do not want it recorded (a cancelled order, a test), click Not my sale.
Linking a sale does three things:
- The sale attaches to that item.
- The item becomes Sold.
- The take-down reminder goes out if the item is listed anywhere else.
Sales with no matching item at all
If the item was never in RelistKit, you can still keep your sales history and totals complete. Either leave the sale linked to nothing, so it stays as a sale without an item, or add the item first:
- Open the item's Poshmark listing.
- In the RelistKit panel, click Add to RelistKit.
- Come back to Sales → Needs review, and then link the sale.
Common questions
How long does a sale wait?
As long as you leave it. Nothing else depends on it, but your sales totals will be short until you resolve it.
I linked it to the wrong item.
- Navigate to Sales → All sales.
- In the sale's Actions column, click the pencil icon.
- Change the item. The wrongly marked item goes back to Listed.
The same sale appears twice.
The platform sent two emails. Click Dismiss on one of them.
