Before You Cross-list
The item page in RelistKit is where an item lives, and the thirty seconds you spend there decide how it looks on eBay and Depop. While RelistKit makes it easy to cross-list to other platforms after publishing a listing on Poshmark, we recommend opening the item in RelistKit instead (there's direct access from the publish confirmation page) first. That way, you can quickly create square versions of photos for use on eBay and Depop before you cross-list.
1. Make the first photo square
Poshmark shows photos as you took them. eBay and Depop crop the main photo to a square, and they crop it their way, which can cut off the item.
- Under Photos, click the scissor icon to edit a photo that requires a square version.

- Drag the square to frame the item, and then click Save. The photo shows Square ✓.
- If the photo needs its edges, such as for a tape measure or a full-length shot, click Use the whole photo (white edges) instead. RelistKit squares it with white space, and the badge reads Edited ✓.
Poshmark keeps your original either way; only the cross-listings use the saved version.
Repeat this process for any other photo you want to look right as a square.
2. Read the text with the other platform in mind
Under Listing details, read the title and description once. Things to check:
- Title length. eBay allows 80 characters. A long Poshmark title gets trimmed on eBay; shorten it here so you control what is cut.
- Flaws. Say them plainly. A described flaw is a sale; a hidden one is a return.
- The condition line. The first line of your description that talks about condition, such as "Excellent preowned condition with light wear", is what eBay gets as its Condition description. Write it the way you want buyers to read it and the other platforms follow.
Click Save details when you change anything. The page tells you cross-listing will use your updated details.
3. Enter the cost and SKU
If you skipped the cost and SKU fields before generating the listing, make sure you enter them next.
- Under Listing details, enter what you paid under Your cost. It makes your profit numbers real under Sales.
- Enter a SKU if you use codes to find things on your shelf, like
B12-014. If you sell for partners, SKUs can be used to link items to a partner in bulk. - Click Save details.
4. Cross-list
Under Platforms, near the top of the page on the right, each platform you sell on has a button. Click the one you want. In most cases, you'll want to use the top button to list on all platforms you use.
