Settings Explained

Everything on the Settings page saves the moment you change it; there is no Save button. This article explains what each card does and when to touch it.

Cross-listing platforms

Which platforms you sell on. Poshmark is always on. Tick each of the others if you use them:

  • eBay
  • Depop
  • Facebook Marketplace

Wherever RelistKit offers cross-listing, it offers only the platforms you have enabled here.

Automatic sale detection

This card holds three things:

  • Your private forwarding address for sale emails.
  • A copy icon beside the address.
  • The Recent emails link, which shows what has arrived at the address and what RelistKit did with it.

Sales tax

Switch Registered for GST/HST on or off. When it is on, the card also asks for:

  • Your province.
  • Your GST/HST number.
  • Whether you are registered for PST or QST.
  • How your Facebook prices treat tax.
  • Your filing period.
  • Whether you use the quick method (**I use the quick method**).

Partners

Switch Track partners paid on a split on to track what you owe partners as their items sell. When it is off, nothing about partners shows anywhere.

Your details

Your time zone. Every date and time in the app, including the credit reset, shows in it.

Browser extension

Whether the extension in this copy of Chrome is connected. Click Connect this extension (or Reconnect this extension) to connect it in one click, or click Get a connection key to set up another computer. See the Set up in ten minutes article.

Where the rest is

These are not on this page:

  • Your name
  • Your email
  • Your password

To reach them, click the round avatar at the top right and then click Account. The setup guide is in the same menu.

Common questions

I changed a setting by accident.

Change it back; nothing else happened. The one to be careful with is the Registered for GST/HST switch: while it is on, sales you record carry a tax stamp.

Where do I turn off email alerts?

Sale alerts go to your sign-in email and cannot be turned off in this version. They are how RelistKit tells you to take down the other listings.
