Getting started
Do I need Poshmark?
Yes. RelistKit writes every listing on a Poshmark draft. Listings you already have on eBay, Depop or Facebook Marketplace can be brought in (Growth and Pro) and cross-listed from there. See The RelistKit Workflow.
Does it work on my phone?
The RelistKit app works in your phone's browser, for checking your sales, inventory and reports. Writing listings and cross-listing need the browser extension, which runs in Chrome on a computer. Chrome is free, and can sit alongside your usual browser. See What RelistKit Does.
The panel doesn't show on Poshmark.
It doesn't open by itself. Click the RelistKit button in the lower right corner of a saved draft's page. No button? Reload the page, then check that Settings → Browser extension says Connected. See The Panel Isn't Showing?.
I also use another cross-listing tool.
Turn its extension off while RelistKit fills a form. There's no need to uninstall it. See Turn Off Other Cross-listing Extensions.
Listing
It got the brand or size wrong.
AI makes mistakes, so fix it on Poshmark's form. Each time you cross-list, RelistKit reads your live Poshmark listing first, so your fix carries over to the other marketplaces. See Write a Poshmark Listing with AI.
A field stayed empty.
RelistKit couldn't tell it from your photos with confidence, so it left it blank rather than guess. Fill it in yourself: the panel's note often says how. See When a Field Isn't Filled In.
Did RelistKit publish anything?
No. You click every publish button yourself. The one thing RelistKit does on its own is end an eBay listing when the item sells somewhere else, if you've connected your eBay account and left that switch on. See Connect Your eBay Account.
How many credits does one item use?
1 credit each time RelistKit writes a listing (Generate again uses another), and 1 credit to research its price. Cross-listing, sales, inventory and reports never use credits. See Plans, Credits and Billing.
I've run out of credits.
On a paid plan, buy a credit pack on the Credits page (pack credits never expire), move up a plan, or wait for your reset date. See Plans, Credits and Billing.
Can it list things that aren't clothing?
Yes. It works out from your photos what kind of item it is, and writes the listing to suit. See Listing Things That Aren't Clothing.
Cross-listing
eBay shows an empty description.
It's written last. Wait a few seconds, and if it's still empty, copy it from the panel. See Cross-list to eBay.
The category is wrong on eBay.
Click Edit beside the category on eBay's form, and pick the right one before you publish. See Cross-list to eBay.
Why is there no Depop or Facebook button?
The item may already be listed there or sold, the marketplace may be switched off under Settings → Cross-listing platforms, or your plan may not include it. The buttons are also greyed out if you're not in Chrome with the extension. See Before You Cross-list.
Why is my eBay price different from Poshmark?
Your pricing rules work out the eBay, Depop and Facebook prices from your Poshmark price (Starter and up). See Set Your Pricing Rules.
When something sells, does RelistKit take my other listings down?
On eBay it can, once your eBay account is connected. For Poshmark, Depop and Facebook, it gives you a link to each listing that's still up, and you take them down. See Connect Your eBay Account.
Your inventory
How long does importing my closet take?
About 300 listings an hour. You can pause any time, and it pauses itself after 500 listings in one sitting. Growth and Pro. See Import Your Closet.
Will it make duplicates if I import again?
No. Listings already in RelistKit aren't added again, and RelistKit pulls down copies of any changes from Poshmark. An item with exactly the same title as another is marked Possible duplicate for you to check. See Imported Items and Duplicates.
Is importing my closet against Poshmark's rules?
Poshmark's Terms of Service prohibit automated tools. The import only reads your own listings, at a steady pace, but RelistKit can't rule out Poshmark acting on it, so it asks for your OK every time. See Import Your Closet.
Can I bring in my eBay, Depop or Facebook listings?
Yes, on Growth and Pro, with no credits used. See Import from eBay, Depop and Facebook.
Can RelistKit lower prices on things that haven't sold?
It suggests a lower price and opens each listing with it filled in. You check it and save it yourself. Growth and Pro. See Lower Prices on What Hasn't Sold.
Sales
A sale didn't appear.
In Settings, on the Automatic sale detection card, click Recent emails to see whether the email arrived and what happened to it. Then check Needs attention on Sales. See Automatic Sale Detection.
How do I record a cash or Facebook sale?
Click Mark as sold at the top of the item's page, or Record a sale on Sales, and choose Facebook Marketplace or Other. See Record a Facebook or Cash Sale.
A sale says it needs review.
RelistKit couldn't match the email to one item, so it waits for you instead of guessing. See Sales That Need Review.
My profit looks wrong.
Enter what you paid under Bought for on the item's page, and the label cost in the Shipping label column on Sales → All sales. See How RelistKit Counts Your Costs.
A buyer returned an item.
Record the refund on the sale, and tick The item came back to me to put it back in your inventory. See Refunds and Returns.
Money and tax
These figures are not tax advice. Check with your accountant before you file.
Why do only Facebook and cash sales count toward the $30,000?
Poshmark, eBay and Depop collect the tax and send it in themselves, so RelistKit counts the sales you take payment for yourself. See The $30,000 Threshold.
Are the return figures what I file?
They're RelistKit's figures, worked out line by line from what you've recorded (Pro). Confirm them with your accountant before you file. See Your GST/HST Return Figures.
Does RelistKit register me or file for me?
No. It gives you the figures, and you or your accountant file with the CRA. See GST/HST: Registered or Not.
What can I give my accountant?
Most pages have CSV and Excel buttons. On Pro, Reports → Downloads puts the whole year in one file. See Year-end Reports for Your Accountant.
Your account
How do I change my email?
Click your initials in the top right corner, then Account. Under Email, enter the new address and click Send confirmation, then open the link while you're signed in. See Your Account.
I forgot my password.
Click Forgot your password? on the sign-in page. See Resetting Your Password.
How do I cancel my plan?
In Settings, click Manage plan on the Your plan card, then Move to Free and Cancel my plan. Nothing is deleted. See Plans, Credits and Billing.
Can I get a refund?
Plans are refunded in full within 14 days of your first payment, or of a yearly renewal. Use Ask for a refund on the Your plan page. See Plans, Credits and Billing.
How do I delete everything?
Download what you need first. Then click your initials, then Account, and under Your data, click Delete my account. A person handles it within 30 days. See Your Data: Export and Deletion.
